IV Power Yoga and Pilates

IV PowerYoga & Pilates is a Hyderabad based yoga studio that was established in 2014 with the goal to spread and educate people about yoga and to help physically, mentally, emotionally and spiritually empower ‘YOU’. We offer an eclectic mix of Power Yoga for weight loss, strengthening, flexibility and body toning; Pilates & Core Strengthening Exercises for strengthening your powerhouse; Hatha Yoga (Traditional Yoga) for better metabolism; Asanas & Pranayam to regulate the prana – life force, the total energy which acts as a medium between the body and the mind; followed by cardio, humming, chanting, meditation and breath awareness. We also practice Partner Yoga, that allows you to try new yoga postures and opens your body and senses more deeply.

Got an injury or pain that just won’t go away? We can help you. We also offer various fitness and health tips from time to time. We not only aid in effective weight loss, better metabolism and therapy; we help you experience transition into a healthy mind and body. Our focus is on delivering a holistic approach and creating an intimate relationship between the mental and physical body and breathing life into your practice, by providing you with the right environment. We believe in giving personal attention to our students and every day is different at IVPY. The variations in our practice make our class fun, innovative and help you push your limits with ease. We believe that weight loss and good health are a byproduct of a positive, happy mind and a fun workout and fitness regime. With each passing day, in our small capacity, we are motivating more and more people to be fit, healthy and happy.

The practice of Yoga is a union of the mind and body. We believe that Yoga is about self-acceptance and helps you believe you’re perfect the way you are, with your strengths and weaknesses. The twisting, stretching, folding and regulated breathing improves flexibility and gives your digestive, circulatory and lymph system a good workout. Yoga includes Meditation and Savasana and is calming and de-stressing for the mind and body. In yoga, we learn to control prana, the vital force, through pranayama. 

Pilates is an exercise developed by Joseph Pilates. This form of exercise emphasises on strengthening the core and has a strong mind-body connection. People who enjoy practising yoga, enjoy practising Pilates too. 

Yoga is fun as it is usually a group activity and can be practised by people of all ages and stages of life such as Hatha Yoga, Prenatal Yoga, Kids Yoga, Power Yoga, Partner Yoga, etc. It helps improve concentration and focusing on yourself. An effective Yoga practice calms your nerves, helps improve your moods and adds to your happiness quotient. People practising Yoga are a Happy Bunch!
